@bignitro50 I have a traxxas velium system in a truck i just sold...motor and esc get very hot after about 10 mins,But if u have quality lipo pack like gens ace,it should just get a little warm...Its best to shut it down and let it cool down a bit between runs...If u need more speed buy a couple of pinions and experiment..i think 1 extra tooth should give u 2-3 mile hour...These brushless setups are extremely powerful compared to stock brushed setups..Its not how fast do u want to go..

@aadesh01 This one hit somewhere around 40mph but for the price that's just fine, but I think that Exceed is in the middle of upgrading all they're electronics so I can't say for sure how fast the new ones will be. Check out my new video to see it with a new motor.

i built a brushed touring car that did at least 40 mph and got up there very fast...if this is brushless i am sure with a 35 amp esc and a 7.4 lipo it could do 50-80 mph..the power is there..its all a matter of trying different pinion gears the more teeth adds top speed..a smaller pinion gives more power to the wheels, but lowers top end...But keep in mind over 40 is very hard to control and ifyou hit a curb the car will be damaged..this car doing 40 is the same as full size version doing 400

@roadstar499 Yes the stock gearing in this car is very odd, slower than I think it should be and even my new motor(see new video) does heat up very quickly, Oh and in this video the esc is 75 amps, I don't know what the new one is off hand.
