@NewWaveBoss thanks man, i understand the whole criticism thing. i completely believe it is more than necessary to grow and learn as a musician, or in anything really. and just to clarify im not exactly new to guitar, ive been playing for over ten years, and there was a time when i was much more technical, but my guitar shredding has kind of taken a back seat to focusing more on songwriting in general, developing a voice, and playing other instruments like drums.

@iamluby I'm not trying to be a dick, like some would like to believe, but I think that criticism makes one strive to be better. I mean, I am a musician and I suck, I am only good from a technical stand-point, I just know a lot of musical theory. I think given time you'll develop a better ear and that would solve a lot of the guitar problems. I will congratulate you on your singing, though, it is very nice.

@raywhiteusmc I didn't say that it sucked because it wasn't like the original, I said it, well... Because... It does suck. The vocals are alright but the guitar is sloppy, slightly out of tune, and just lazy. The guy has a nice voice but not really much of a range and his guitar playing doesn't really make up for it.

thanks man. I'm glad someone gets it. the guitar work in this is a little sloppy i'll admit, but it was just done in one take on the spot, the solo was done strictly based on feel. Just like any live performance it has its hick-ups, but meh. that's what makes it interesting.

@NewWaveBoss I disagree. It doesn't suck. It doesn't sound at all like the original but that's a good thing. It sounds like "his" version. Guitar needs work, but it's still a great job.
