Lost in all of this excellent music Ray Parker Jr. produced is the fact that the man was one of the best songwriters of his time! Man, the ability to express complex themes in a 3 or 4 minute span is something I wish I could do...

I remember this song from when i was a kid. It has been popping into my head every so often down the years. Glad i found it. The singers easy singing style and the funky sound behind it still hits the spot :)))
