@SuperSmashyfication If you think a civilized nation must survive thorugh farming and agrarian, there are still "uncivilized" countries around the world today, which is apparently not true. Japanese
-
@Antiahs My measure of civilized is a society that survives through farming and agrarian economy rather than raiding. The Japanese were a primitive agrarian society at that time, but they were not raiding barbarians like the Huns.
-
@SuperSmashyfication then what you think barbarian is? Greece had its glorious time before Rome, and they had magnificent culture and history; what Japan had back then? Is there anything that you find today that can prove Japan had such a civilization as ancient Greece. I think they were more like Huns rather than a "civilized" nation
-
@Antiahs No, during Han Dynasty Japan was a conservative, bigoted, backwards society, but they certainly weren't barbarians. They were more like Greece at the time of the Romans: they were civilized, but their neighbors were smarter, stronger and much more advanced.

Sun Tzu's War Academy was bloody creepy. I even had nightmares about this one as a kid.

"If fighting is sure to result in victory then you must fight!"
Sun Tzu said that!

ppshchik, Japanese copied Chinese culture and Social systems during Tang Dynasty. During Han Dynasty, Japanese people were just barbarians.

Shame for the crappy music, most wonders had very good soundtrack.
