The marine mammals known as cetaceans originated about 50 million years ago in south Asia, but their terrestrial ancestor is something of a mystery. Hans Thewissen and colleagues now provide the missing Eocene piece of the jigsaw.

  • Wow, Pakicetus was discovered only in 2001! This evidence is still hot of the press, so to speak.

  • And no I have not received any reply from valu777. I asked him again on another video where he/she posts and he/she continues to avoid me. I can only assume he is unwilling to admit he lied or at the very least put forth a claim without checking it.

All of Charles Darwin's work is available online for free so it's quite easy to confirm or debunk anything regarding him. The lie valu777 wrote is nothing new and his unwillingness to admit it is also nothing new.

  • hard to trace their ancestors! Whatever their ancestor is, what is important is that I forgot all my problems just by watching them swim..

  • One of the most difficult fossils to find and prove evolution are those of creatures under the sea.

  • what the heck

  • Novel about an alternative view of evolution see video book trailer

  • @Sabianfan I understand why YOU have to translate it that way. I'm more interested in the truth.

    > "Jhwh doesn't get a mention before Exodus 3:14 Noah is left with Elohim, and thats plural."

    What about Genesis 2:4 in:

American Standard Version? (...in the day that Jehovah God..)

New World Translation? (...in the day that Jehovah God..)

Darby Translation? (...in the day that Jehovah Elohim..)

Reina-Valera 1960? (...el día que Jehová Dios..) etc. etc.

Oh, and Elohim must be explained as an intensive plural, denoting greatness and majesty.

  • @Sabianfan I would take the uncorroberated word of the BAR about nothing, as they have an agenda. I find they attempt balance frequently, and try hard, but still. If I said I find the scrolls less than impressive compared with the Sumerian documents we have, I'm sure you would understand.

As Jhwh doesn't get a mention before Exodus 3:14 Noah is left with Elohim, and thats plural.

Young is using poetic licence to enforce a unity that doesn't exist in our best estimations of originals.

    >"If he wants to make a point of polytheism I should point out that Noah worshipped Elohim, which is plural."

Genesis 6:8 clearly says who Noah's God was:

And Noah found grace in the eyes of Jehovah (Young's Literal Translation). יהוה/Jehovah/Jahweh/YHWH/JHVH etc. is NOT plural.
