  • Did he make the Hall of Fame?

  • No, not yet.

  • Ray Guy was awesome, loved him and the Raiders as a kid. He was the only punter you got excited about coming onto the field. Ray Guy belongs in the HoF. Gt real NFL.

  • I don't know if I'm watching Frank Caliendo or the real John Madden

  • @Navdan87 Yes Hartman is a fool and should keep his trap shut. The only Ray is not in the H0F is because he played for the Raiders. There's still a lot of twisted football writers still living who get to vote for the HoF's.

I love Lechler as our punter and he is one of the all time great punters but he is still No.2 to Ray Guy.

  • Ray Guy and Brett Favre should be in the same Hall of Fame class (would be first Southern Miss players to be inducted)

  • Just stupid that Guy isn't in. Everyone will tell you he's the best punter ever. He even changed the game a little.

  • I was watching the NFL Network episode "Top 10 players not in the HOF". Sid Hartman, a reporter for a Minneapolis newspaper and HOF voter, says, "I will NEVER vote for him!" saying it in a real cocky way. What a jerk! Ray Guy and Stabler need to get the call from the hall!!

  • The Raiders have always had a great eye for kickers/punters. Lechler is easily the greatest punter in the modern age, and Seabass, though erratic, is undeniably the strongest leg ever.

  • @CODsMODs If you want to hear gibberish, you should hear Boston Mayor Tom Menino speak.

  • @kareninysimba I can no longer understand john madden.... it sounds like gibberish its riggin hilarious

  • Ray Guy was "THE GUY"

  • The fact he is not in the Hall is purely a result of anti-Raider bias.

    Screw the NFL.

  • Obviously because of my age Ray Guy is well before my time...but looking at the stats...I don't see why Jan Stenerud is in the Hall of Fame and not Ray Guy

Come to think of it...why is Jan Stenerud in the Hall at all? 66.8 percent of his field goals made? Terrible beyond 50 yards and one season he missed 6 extra points! If you're gonna make it as a kicker you had better be pretty damn special...looking at Ray Guy I can see it...Jan Stenerud is a mystery to me.
