What??? Barbara is commenting on this situation?? She too may have had the child of a married man during her affair had she been younger, biologically able.

I have lost respect for Barbara sincer her affair with a married man.

I wouldn't be open about having a kid at 15 who had a kid at 15. Most adults who had teen kids are MORTIFIED. I know a real person who isn't a celebrity who is this and she is mortified that she had a kid (as far as I can tell) and that kid (before he died in a car wreck) was 26 plus years old) She loved him but never was "open about how her life was what it was" like a celebrity can be. That ist just odd to be as proud as she is about having grandkids at 34 or so years old.

Being open about things, which I feel is what Whoopi does, is not the same as bragging.

Whoopi brags about being a grandma at 34 when she had a child at 18. that makes her kid a teen doing things--that isn't appealing either.

and then her daughter would be a teen mom as well. If this was Joe nobody's wife it would be a 15 year old who had a kid who had a 15 year old who had a kid and they are grandparents at 28

I am with you in watching these women talk to men about how to act etc since I start to think about how Whoopi brags about being a grandmother at my older brothers' age--not something for him to ever relate to since he wasn't in a physical relationship with a woman at 17 (she had a kid at 18) and I can bank on it his son won't be doing things physical at 15 (her grandaughter was born 16 years later--so her daughter was 15) Am I missing something here? Why is she bragging about having a kid in HS

Look people. When John Edwards was "hair-brushed" out of the Democratic Party, the nation also exiled the strongest voice on the issue of poverty we have had since Robert Kennedy. John Edwards was to the poverty issue what Al Gore was to global warming. I`m not gonna defend what Edwards did, but i don t like the hypocrisy that Newt Gingrich did the same as John Edwards, but he gets to run president.
