One of his oldest and closest friends sent my dad some flowers to the service today and left a simple note saying, 'charm the angels with your playing max' and that, im sure, is exactly what he'll do.. The hardest day of my life was today, carrying my dad, speakin at his funeral.. i just thank god for the memories behind. I love you dad.. Hope your ok up there in your new place.. R.I.P.. bear xx

I read a daily devotional "Streams in the Desert." On May 30th it reads,

"There are chords too minor for the angels. There may be heights in the symphony which angels alone can reach; but there are depths which belong to thee, and can only be touched by thee. No angel, no archangel can sing it so sweetly as I can.

Despise not thy school of sorrow, O my soul; it will give thee a unique part in the universal song."

The Heavenly Choir has no doubt received one of its most sweetest singers.

Pangenix (4 months ago): It was written in January 1999 - my young sons had been with us in Dublin for the Christmas and New Year period, and had returned to London. I was so sad to see them go, and yet had so much love and hope for them. I simply sat down at the piano and improvised this. A gift from a father's heart to his sons'. Max

This is the hardest think ive ever had to do.. Dad i miss you soo much.. I couldnt even say happybirthday to you on your birthday, but im sure your having such a good time up there.. Its wierd writing this, it seems like no1 else will see it but you.. But your the only person who cant see it.. I listen to your musical bear every night.. Lying there, simply reminissing.. I knew he died a couple of weeks ago but didn't know that this youtube video existed until now. I guess I am amongst one of the first to ever got to know Max through yahoo classical music chat and was instantly drawn by his charm and easy-going manner.

I am still in shock that he died so suddenly and am totally saddened by the fact that our contact had been so sporadic in recent years.

RIP, Max. You will always be missed dearly.
