Test and possibly treat for air sac mites, also check to make sure you're feeding them correctly. Many birds will stop singing if they don't have the nutrients they require in their food.

i feel sorry about what happened to this greaty bird! in Algeria, thay are died out and enxtinted from the nature! are are only captured into cages ! i hate the algerian people,; because they controbuted to the loss of my best bird! i haven't seen this bird (gold finch) in the nature since i was a boy!!
