@FatBoySujin Again, you're correct, but you'll notice that this video and my comment wasn't directed towards businesses, who probably don't spend their time Youtubing amateur video tutorials, but rather, people sitting at home trying to use the software they downloaded. Chill out a little.
Oh, and if it makes you feel any better, I actually prefer to use Photoshop. But that doesn't diminish Gimp's capabilities.

for the guy who came here to hate on gimp, to be honost, when i tryed PS, i hated it. so for me Gimp is easier, less stressfull, and free. for you, $500 is better

@FatBoySujin My dad works at Sony Pictures on making movies. He uses GIMP because it's open source. So does the rest of his offices.

I want to know what program you use to compress/convert your videos, I can't find one that does, and keeps a good image quality.

Gimp is a rather poor editor, sure it's free, but that's about the only positive thing you can say about it.

Actually, most of what you can produce in PS, you can with GIMP too. In fact, I don't see what exactly PS has over GIMP, especially that's worth the extra hundreds of dollars.
