He injured a stuntman in Cyborg. Jackson 'Rock' Pinckney. The court was in Fayetteville, NC. My family actually knew that Jackson guy -- we went bowling with him once. Pretty funny. He got like close to a half a mil.

i think this is the trial where he was sued for blinding a stuntman in cyborg with a prop sword. i heard that because of this, van damme began filming his movies overseas to avoid litigation from then on and indeed, if you look at a long string of movies after cyborg, a lot of them were filmed in asia.
