a quick tour of my back yard tiki bar. the first tiki bar was wiped out by a storm last year during our Lebowsktoberfest party. my friends and i got the posts in the sand and the bar tops installed during the last week of april. my friend john came across a jungle of bamboo that we harvested for the roof. i did the construction of the roof after work and on the weekends. it's pretty much finished now except for tiling the bar with beer bottle caps, and adding another layer of thatch to the roof to make it more weatherproof.

it's made mostly from wood that washed up on the beach. everything except for the bamboo, and four strips of wood. that and nails and screws which i bought. it's a work of art. blood, sweat, and tears went into this project, literally.

my voice is a bit froggy because i had one too many frogs last night.
