it's a SATA 6Gb/s+6x SATA 3Gb/s. Is that one of very few motherboard iwth a SATA 6Gb/s?? the ASUS Maximus GENE III has only SATA 3Gb/s (does that mean that if I buy the Western Digital Caviar Black 1T, which supports 6Gb/s, so it will only work up to 3?)

@Jorgie0101 Yes, and?
@tmeng87: It does support crossfire ; as almost any Gigabyte gaming-enabled mobo has.
@mnmosh2008: After buying more than a dozen years of pc-components; I do suggest Intel and Gigabyte mainboards over Asus. They used to be great but they did drop the ball. Their servers are even better in quality.
Same goes to HDD's; WD & IBM has given me the best results with the least returns for RMA. Other brand drives sold for cheap over the counter, could be searching for troubles in the long run.

The eSATA ports on the back of the board are not eSATA/USB. I have that board and they do not fit a standard USB connector. Great board though, just stay away from the "Energy Saver" app that comes on the CD, all it does is cause problems.
