A brilliant oldie and a sadly under-rated & talented artiste who wrote his own songs,also played guitar on and sang harmonies on his records. I remember a classic video of him on a TV pop show of the day walking through the wood pictured in this upload with a girl emerging from behind each tree as he walked along the path and he would stop and sing the lines of the song to each girl before they followed after him. Would love to see it again! A true golden oldie!

I always did like this song, is this the cover of the Japanese issued 45 RPM single? There is also a video elsewhere on you tube of Crispian St Peters singing this song to a group of children as he is leading them around, probably from a TV appearance around 1966-67, it's very interesting to watch.
