@moningstone The US received a different narrator because American English and British English are very different. For one, we Americans don't refer to trucks as trucks, we call them freight cars. We don't refer to tea as tea, we call it lunch. Also, the heavy British accents are also sometimes harder to understand. There were a lot of times that both Angelis and Starr mumbled and it's hard to hear. In the US version, Carlin, Baldwin, and Brandon say the lines rather clearly.

This show has been getting worse for years, I wouldn't be surprised if we soon saw an episode about Thomas and the rail replacement bus service.
