Malaysia IS a Muslim country but other races who are NOT Malay have the freedom to choose their own religions or being atheism. Child sexual abuse happen all over the world BUT in Malaysia, child sexual abuse isn't taken seriously by Malaysians and allowing it to continuosly happen. No action taken at all. I think it's INJUSTICE to those victims of child sexual abuse if noone give them a voice, continue to stay silent, and do something to stop thhe crime.

@firerabbite It's so sad to hear that those child abuse cases aren't taken seriously. I wish there are justice for those abused children. I the society failes to protect those innocent children. They deserve love and compassion. In fact, an abused child, may also likely to abuse their children when they grow up and lack of compassion for others. If they "inherited" a criminal brain, they have tendency to become violent or sociopaths or even pychopaths.

@ahantu we have so many child abuse cases in Malaysia. the cases are all been tossed somewhere in a pile collecting dust. the difference with this particular case is that she was both raped and murdered . abit more serious for some people. if it was only abusement it would be just another case in the pile collecting dust.

This is so depressing. Children are being sexually molested by people who they should trust the most. They don't even know they're being touched in a innappropriate manner because of their innocence and youth. Most of these cases go unreported but in the "Muslim world" it's really taboo to speak out on such things. I feel everyone should be educated and know their rights. Furthermore, these disgusting barabaric molesters need to seek treatment. Sick minded dogs.

Malaysia IS a Muslim AND Democracy country. It is a Muslim country is just that the official religion is Islam BUT because it's a democracy country, non-muslim can have their own religion of their choice. My point is there should have a general/Federal Law (has nothing to do with religion) that should be applicable to everyone. Religion-related laws shouldn't mix with the general law.
