i want to buy car in next six month....i have short listed cars honda civic and chevrolet cruze....which 1 is best 4 build quality and reliability terms...and i also heard that civic is going under major change next year is it true and is it worth while waiting 4 it? kindly help...

The Skoda is a wonderful car and I would have been disappointed if the latest revision lost a comparison test to a Civic. Btw, my mother owns the RS version as a station wagon. Head room in the rear is far better than in the sedan, apart from the shoulder room which is probably identical. I agree with the rating of this car as a 4+1 seater. Despite these minor issues, it's far superior to the Honda - interior quality of Asian mid-size cars is just not enough for european standards.

laura is best in performance and style in diesel version and civic is best in petrol versions , these two diffrent variants can't b compared ........laura is masuline in nature whereas civic is feminine...........

I won a Civic THe Fact of the Mater is, Since they have manufactured the Vtec engine they gave never gone wrong.EVER! and when the vTec kicks in at 5500rpm. u can almost feel the power shifts.

This review is good but some things are a bit wrong. In the sense i have touched 200 in the civic and 0-100 in 9.4 seconds.
Secondly the civic has much classier looks in my opinion. and then also the company is way ahead of skoda. And secondly the cost of the laura is much more than civic , cant be compared. I also think laura interiors arent as cockpit like the civic 's digital speedometre etc .
and also people enjoy sitting in the civic 's rear than the laura.

The Civic's sort of old news.
Love Skoda's attention to detail, really shades Honda in overall cockpit design.
My vote goes to the Laura.

Our testing is done with GPS-based equipment that guarantees accurate results. If you're test numbers were generated by using the speedo as a reference then, you should know that most speedos underread by as much as 10kmph. Second, the Indian-spec Civic and Laura are normally slightly different in spec from versions sold in other markets and stuff like the wheels and tyres on offer in our market will cause a variation in performance.
