Are dogs allowed on the trails?

@christo930 no no the rustic side is the colton point side . No RVs and the no step or guard rail turkey trail . ... Leonard Harrison has the gift shop , small museum like room , a large overlook area and easy access turkey trail . Both sides are great but we like to camp colton point .

YOU'RE ON THE WRONG SIDE! You have to go to the other side (the Leonard Harrison state park side) where it is much, much more rustic. On the side you are on, the Turkey trail is safe and ends with about 500 steps, but on the other side, there are no guard rails, no steps or anything, all the way to the bottom. I did both sides. The other side has a nice rustic camp ground and a large number of rustic overlook spots. I love this place.

My parents had a home away from home along the route that takes you to the Grand Canyon. The creek was on the other side of the road. This is awesome country. Thanks for posting.

I grew up in Wellsboro, just 10 miles from the canyon. I get so homesick for this area and I love seeing the video. It is beautiful in the fall also. Thank you.
Thanks for posting. I come from an opposite section of Pennsylvania but my parents have a house along the route than runs parallel to Pine Creek. In Potter and Tioga Counties one can see the stars that look like you can reach up and grab one. It's an area that isn't polluted by man made light.

The stars are amazing in these neck of the woods. We even heard cyotes while we were camping.

The original music I put on this video; "From a Distance" by the devine Bette Midler had to be removed due to copywrite infridgement. I could not believe it! So much for complimenting and endorsing a song!

You mentioned the sunsets... I was amazed by the night sky. There were so many stars, with no light polution, I was amazed.

Joe, I just returned from a trip to Palmdale California. It was over 100 degrees all week. I missed the grass, trees and farmlands of PA. The Lightening Bugs greeted me when I got home. You are quite welcome. I am glad I could take you back.
