  • Thank you, I don't feel so alone after watching your video.

  • @ChineapplePunk

Beautiful comments like yours keep coming in from other people and I don't reply to all of them. After awhile I have to take the time to thank ALL of you for your inspiring words. Now that my mom lives at home with me and my family, I can surely use the inspiration and the strength that I find in what all of you have to share...

  • Thank you for sharing a beautiful video. It was so moving. I wept while watching this. I wish your family all the best and be strong for each other. Your family is full of love. The music you used was also beautiful. What is the title of the song and the who sang it?

  • @jicster2004

Thanks for your comments. There were actually two different pieces of music in the video. The lady that comes in at the end of the video is Annie Stela singing, "Breathe Through."

  • Thank you for sharing. My dad has this and he is only 53.

  • @tabicat1970

I'm 53 and the thought of having dementia is sad. I've joked around in the past about having dementia when I'm forgetful. But it's really not funny. The disease in not just for seniors. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family for strength as your dad lives with this disease. I will say that my mom is in a good place. Even though she has forgotten a lot, she still has the capacity to love and feel emotions. I hope your dad can experience the same.

  • I can't stop crying , i've a headache now. Wonderful video

  • God bless them - what wonderful people, your mum's mind may be tired but their love for each other is amazing.

  • What a beautiful video. Thanks for the lovely and touching video. I can't stop crying. This will remind me why I got into nursing school.

  • That made me also cry!! What a touching story so beautiful that your parents were destined soul mates. What a lovely video thank you

  • Your parents had something that many people in the world never get to have or live through, something that money will never buy... they had a loving life time relationship and yet imperfection is what slowly strips away what happens in our lives, only God and his kingdom can restore our loved ones to a better state than what they were before, only a perfect body promised in the Bible can do that...Rev 21:3-4... thank you for sharing...

  • Reminds me of the movie "The Notebook". I loved that movie. Losing your memory, after spending a lifetime with your loved one, can be so unfair. I'm 26 and one would say i don't know anything about how that would feel like, but i do.

  • this disease is devestating as I see it slowly killing my father. If I ever get it I'll put a gun to my head. no point going through the misery.

  • Alzheimers !! .. cruel illness ive worked with dementia clients for 8 years i love and enjoy everyday of my job .. I see a lot of guilt of the suffers spouses for putting them into care. Upsets me to see that because thats what me and other care assistants are here for too meet the clients needs and the familys needs . There is a lot of support out the for dementia it just isnt as easy to find like other illnesses . My heart goes out to all the familys suffering for this illness x

  • I one year married and my greatest fear is that one of us will get dementia or Alzheimer's... : / my great great grandmother is 99 has it and my great uncle has been lost/ dead for years because of it. I hope it doesn't get me,

  • Thank you so much for the video. I really liked what you said about "their minds might be miles apart but I know their hearts are together". This describes me and my mother, who passed away last year from a fall she had at a facility with poor staff to patient ratio. I'm so glad this facility was good for your mother, and I urge others to be careful. Your video was a tribute to your parents and showed respect and love; wish all family members would pull together in the face of dementia!
