  • i dont even do this sport but im dieing to do it but it looks hard as hell to bend ur knees at the beginning at the fight you didnt even go halfway down is it that hard just want to know

  • @FairZack234 yeah, before I started kendo, i was a hockey goaltender for almost 11 years, I trashed my knees so it's hard to get them down that far.

  • Why are these nuns beating each other with sticks?

  • @63yogi because, we're beating the love of god into eachother! XD

  • what is your rank in kendo I'm stopped practicing Kendo but my rank is

    Roku - Dan

  • @KirovAirship8000 my rank right now at the moment is Sankyu, nice to hear from a Rokudan! Just wondering why did you stop practicing? I'm going to attempt Niikyu this October so I hope I do well enough to pass. I've been putting a lot of hours into practice.

  • @miyakagu21 I´m a little bit scared as well... I want to give it a try but..I´m just too scared XD and I turned 18 3 weeks ago isn´t that to old to do it now?...:( Damn I really want to give it a try...

  • @MASHDOTCOM Exactly :)

  • seems kinda boring with all the formalities; i'd expect something like trying to kill each other bamboo sticks

  • does it hurt a lot? when you get hit with the armor on?

I really want to try it but I don't want to damage my body :T

DANG you have to be fast

  • I'm a practicioner of taekwondo, but I would really like getting into kendo. I've always wanted to learn how to use a sword. However, is kendo really just focused on the sport aspect of it, or does it essentially teach what would have been combat training in the 16th century for samurai and other swordsmen? Obviously I won't be getting into a sword fight, but I'm curious if kendo is a big international competition sport like taekwondo or not.

  • @wickedpoet667 im allready Niikyu i dont have any lost match ..but it wasnt easy to reach...give ur best and look allways forward ;)
