It's not so much "had to" but more like at some point it's gonna happen. Can you honestly admit that you've NEVER used someone? Even "unintentionally"?

Also, isn't Justin's relationship with Britney personal? The only ones who know who was actually in the wrong was both of them, we can assume all we want. We honestly have no right to judge either of them.

I'm not here to say that Britney was in the wrong (it might have been the case) or if Justin is (which is just as likely).

i never said it was wrong to write a song filled with ur stupid emotions. all songs have some sort of emotion. i know and u know this song was for her and im sure ur parents only used eachother til they got u. n im sure u learned from them and use everyone in ur life. u cant be the BIGGER and better person and walk away like britney did? Is it so wrong to write a song that is filled with emotion? Whoever said that this was actually for her? It's probably insinuated, but it doesn't mean that it's the truth. And if you think about it, everyone does something that looks like they're using someone to get higher up. It happens. There's no bigger person. We all end up using people, whether we realize it or not. Just wanted to say :)

did u do a spell check before writing this? damn, ur writing skills are really bad. btw, this song just claims how much he loved her...then it claims what a jerk he really truly is. he could've just kept to it himself like a real man should, but decided to make their breakup into his music and took their relationship and made it a ladder for his success. he's a dick like kanye. just speaking the truth and it hurts sometimes. britney's the bigger person overall.
