@Maetel22 No, Germans were very capable. If Nazis were not sandwiched by USA and commies, it would have continued the nightmare for a long, long time, killing off all the Jews, Slavs, and everyone else who does not comply. Commies could not have defeated Germans. They'd co-exist with Nazis. Europe and the rest of the world was doomed without USA. It was so then, it is so now. If you don't like USA, don't live there.

@Hesuku Well, actually, the USSR probably would have defeated the Third Reich alone eventually anyway. Hitler's invasion was doomed from the start, it was only a matter of time. Stalingrad started the decline, Kursk cemented it. All before D-Day, mind you. Now if the US wants to take credit for a war it did win, it's the Pacific Theatre. That was pretty good thinking.

@Tanis2 Well I hear there is a reboot of Space Battleship Yamato in the works do to the live action film, and it could get a U.S. release

Hostile activity detected from the bathrooms! All hands, battlestations!

Space urinals? I have never seen that in a sci-fi movie, and certainly not in a cartoon before. Makes it seem a bit more 'human' oddly enough.

I can't believe he punches the cat!
Since it's a cartoon cat, and not a real cat getting hurt, it's funny. I watched that part over and over again. And laughed every time.

This is 1978. Seven years before the MiG-29A :-)
Mind you, "The Empire Strikes Back" was released about 2 years after this particular season. Maybe you should be suspicious of "The Empire Strikes Back" instead

It tells something about Zordar's psyche that he has his communication screen integrated into the floor, so that he can literally trample on his underlings. Desler must be envious that he did not have that idea!
