Built in 1949 for Inland Steel, at 671' she was the largest vessel on the lakes at the time of her launch.
This model built by James G. Sykes of Halifax, NS represents the Sykes prior to her having been converted to a self-unloader in 1975.
It is over 11' long and built in 2 parts which are assembled prior to launching.
