34 year old Matthew Maguire from Birkenhead, was among 27 oil workers kidnapped by militants back in September,

The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta released the first pictures of Matthew Maguire in January alongside Robin Hughes who was released yesterday.

27 oil workers were kidnapped when their ship was hijacked on September 9. The other hostages were later released.

On Sunday, it emerged that 59 year old Mr Hughes was handed over to military officials in Nigeria's southern oil region because of his apparent ill health. His family say they're delighted at the news but said it was tainted by not knowing the fate of Mr Maguire.

Matthew, thank God you are free at last, what you should do right now is to start campaigning for the agitation of the real niger delta struggle in your country, because nigeria as a country is nothing but a faulse and failed state.
