SIDE TRIP | Manila's Light Rail Transit Line 2 - Recto Station

Light Rail Transit Line 2 in Metro Manila. This station is the west end of the purple line. Recto Station connects or links to Doroteo Jose Station which is a station of the Light Rail Transit Line 1 (Yellow Line).

This line and its train sets are fully automated and has a drive-by-wire capability like the one in Hong Kong's MTRs.

@TheCuteboy89 Hahaha! Actually the Philippines was the first in Southeast Asia to have a light rail transit during the 80's. The Philippines used to have a vast network of tram systems and railways. Unfortunately, it was ruined during World War II and some railway networks were retained. Government management has something to play with its modernization and implementation.
