@canaryman69 It isn't the problem it's the bad teachers that get paid for teaching this worthless stuff. I don't want 1hr worth of reading a story about a boy and his dog. I want to read about Ancient Greece, Ancient Literature, modern literature. The curriculum NEEDS to be changed. Not to mention teachers are bad can't get fired.

@alphamale442 the U.S. spends the most money on education than the top 34 most industrialized nations for the last 65 years and the U.S. students still score at or near the bottom in EVERY category. Money is not the issue. Socialism has failed around the world and is failing in the U.S. Where is your outrage at the failure of our government run failed school system in the U.S.? the teachers and teachers unions and the government have failed this nation and our students. What a shame.

@canaryman69 are you saying for a family to pay for school because my family can't afford me going to school. I have to rely on everyone paying there taxes so I get to go to school everyday. My history teacher said we need MORE teachers and Better ones. However it is the PARENTS job to make sure there kid is getting the education they deserve. Time after time I hear it blamed on the teachers, this is un-acceptable. It's the parents fault.
