How To Stop Easycap DC60+ From Lagging (Solutions)

PLEASE READ (VERY IMPORTANT)

Yo we are going to be talking about lagging solutions for the easycap... Watch my tutorial on how to Setup The Easycap With Tv Sources Video Composite And S-Video..

The program that stopped my easycap from lagging is called "DScaler 4"

Download Dscaler 4 (FREE SOFTWARE):
http://sourceforge.net/projects/deinterlace/

Solutions:
1). Make sure the easycap driver is up to date (ONLY IF YOUR DEVICE IS OUT OF DATE) .

Download Easycap DC60+ Latest Driver For 32 & 64bit (SAVE TO DESKTOP):

How To Install:
1). Plug in Easycap
2). Click on "Start Menu"
3). Click on "Devices and Printers"
4). Scroll down until you see "Video Capture Adapter With Audio 2.0" and Right Click on it..
5). Click on "Properties"
6). Choose Tab "Hardware"
7). Choose "Properties" Then "Update Driver"
8). Search For Driver on desktop and Select it
9). Choose Install Driver Anyway
10). YOUR DONE!!!

But this only for the people who dont have there driver up to date.. The rules above still goes for people with 32bit computers..



2). If your Program that you are using is making the easycap lag use a different program...

3): Make sure that the easycap is plugged in via usb. The easycap comes with a usb extension cable u dont want to use it when recording I dont know why the extension cable makes the easycap lag but it does so make sure that the easycap itself is plugged in..

4). Make sure that No OTHER program is running while your recording..


5). Start Task Manager by right clicking on your taskbar and choosing "Processes" Find your prgram that your recording with and right click on it.. Choose "Set Priority" And Choose High...

Downfall About This:
The downfall about this is that your computer is going to be lagging because
your telling the computer to give all its focus into the program you choose to record with.. But this is not a problem when recording because your not using
computer manually MEANING (Internet and such things). So keep in mind that this is a solution to stopping the lag for your easycap..

NOTE:
Something that i forgot to say in the video but it might not be your easycap lagging it may be cause your connection... If Your connection gets weak when your computer on then u need a more powerful computer. But keep in mind that you are recording with your computer on so it might just be your connection and not the easycap.

Hii! I just recently got my ezcap that came with the recording program Arcsoft Showbiz. Its lagging SOOO bad. It will run okay for like 1 second and then freeze up for about 10 and continue the cycle. I would like to try your solutions but does it matter about like if I use Windows Vista or not?

hi, seems like i bought the wrong easycap which is the same as yours(1 white & 4 yellow)..I would like to record video games with easycap but I'm not sure if this easycap will work..

DScaler is the best software for Easycap out there. WinDvr 3 is the first, but that is too expensive so DScaler is the one im using for now.
