  • Ive worked out of reg cab 4x2 Ford Rangers before, I put about 15k miles on my personal '89 S-10 extended cab 4x4

I think a first generation S10 w/ a 4.3 and 4x4 is the perfect smaller truck hands down. The Ford ranger of the last 10 years or so is good also but the tacoma - if nothing else - has a more ergonomic cab than either. I hate toyota cars for a number of reasons but this is a very liveable truck. However ive never seen one in person that was used for 200k miles or more like the Ranger

  • I wish they brought that into Australia

  • I recently rented a 2011 toyota tacoma 4x4 4.0 v6 and didnt want to give it back.

enough get up and go around town and 4wheeled pretty well..went up everything i could find easily.. too bad i cant afford one at 10 dollars and hour..great truck and i wish i had one...imao

  • Forgot to mention has best resale value...05 still go for 23k

  • @brew62 111K on my 93 4Runner... Still thumping strong

  • 130k on my 05 trd ofroad. 3rd set of spark plugs, put brakes on it at 80k. It runs just like it did the day I bought it.

  • i did that with mine, drove it through a river creek that flooded when raining in new mexico, got stuck in 2 wheel drive but switch to 4 wheel drive and pull me out of the water like cutting butter with a hot knife :-) only con small bed cargo space, poor snow handiing may needed snow tires overall A-

  • I have the 06 double cab TRD with 97,000 and I love it! never had any problems (other then people who cant park in DC) it corners great though the windy mountain roads in VA good power and towing. so glad i choose this over the ranger
