Today we are going to visit a studio apartment located in Cité Voltaire, between Boulevard Voltaire and Avenue Philippe Auguste, in the 11th district of Paris.
This vacation rental is located in the 11th district which is a lovely neighborhood with many shops and boutiques. Located in the heart of the city, this studio apartment is close to public transportation making it easy to get around Paris like a true Parisian.
Located on a quiet and calm street, this studio is found on the 2nd floor (3rd floor in the US) of a brightly lit building with a view of a school play yard.
Upon entering the apartment you will truly appreciate the unique décor. On your left, you will find a sofa bed and a closet where you can hang your clothes and store your belongings.
Across from the entry are large windows that bring in lots of natural lights to the space. The apartment is also furnished with a chair which can fold into a single sized bed for extra sleeping comfort.
There is a desk where you will find a TV, a DVD player and a telephone along with some Paris guides at your disposal.
The American style kitchen found in the back of the apartment has all the amenities you will need for preparing meals. There is a stove, a refrigerator and a microwave. Of course, dishware and utensils are provided for your stay.
The bathroom is equipped with a shower, a sink, a mirror and some cabinet space for your personal effects.
This charming studio apartment is perfect for someone vacationing in Paris.
Now let's go check out the surrounding neighborhood. Not far from the apartment is the rue de Charonne. With its local shops and boutiques along with the busy pedestrian traffic, this neighborhood is vibrant and lively. Do some grocery shopping or stop for an espresso.
A little further north is the Cimetière du Père Lachaise. This cemetery is located on a hillside that overlooks the city and is one of the most prestigious cemeteries in Paris. Many well-known people were laid to rest here. With its many memorials and monuments, you'll surely want to have a look.
The Place de la Nation is a huge square located in the center of Paris. The majestic monument at the center, known as Le Triomphe de la République was commissioned by the city of Paris in 1879. The traffic around this square is very busy as this round-a-bout connects a number of streets.
