@ktchong so true. any place has its quality and its junk. just because its chinese doesnt mean its junk. doesnt mean its got a touch screen display thats gonna go bad during the 2nd flight, doesnt mean it has dinky welds holding wimpy metal. beware of rook-a-rike

@AncNoob The made-in-China stuff in America is cheap because American purchasers want cheap over quality. When Americans go to China to place orders, they have the options of paying more for quality or go for as cheaply as possible. Inevitably, Americans want their orders to be made as cheaply as possible. That's why you get cheap Chinese craps. China can make quality stuff, but then the American companies that buy from China are not willing to pay even a little more for the quality.

@djsabourin101 I study in the states too. I have BS in CS, MS in EE and pursuing my PhD in EE now. I have more than 10 years experience from F500 hi-tech companies. I admire US for the best graduate school here. But I plan to go back to China to contribute to Chinese hi-tech industry. There are lots of Chinese leaving China but there are more and more Chinese like me going back to China with advanced degree and valuable experience. The world needs more than one supper power.
