Relient K, Be my Escape

To really be one with God we have to let him "Be our Escape" as it says in the song. we cant live on our own and expect it all to go right all the time even if we are saved. Dont let other thing be your escape you must turn to God. the question is do you know where you are going if you were to die right no? honestly dont lie to your self that the worst mistake you can make. Let God be the escape.

its just a song, it doesnt really matter whats its about. it means what it means to everyone. to a christian it may mean god, to someone who is heart broken it might mean a girl. it doesn't matter what you think its about it is about what you want it to be about and that is the end of it. so stop arguing over retarded nonsense that doesn't matter. but as i like to say, "to each there own." so drop the lame argument and just enjoy the song no matter what its about.

I think this is about how he is trying to get over his ex...and thats who the girl in the pctures is. and how he is so insecure cause she was the only girl he was with and she has had the "key" to his heart. and he just wants to let her go and he is lookin for someone else to take his mind away and let him escape from the pain of his ex.....at least thats how imma look at it

@ArionaMew Relient K are Christians ummmm... so wouldn't it be obvious that they are talking about God? Also "the whole world that shares my fate" is pointing to the fact that in the Bible Jesus says that He's here to save Man at a whole which can translate to the whole world. Also Grace is refering to God since it is by Gods GRACE that we are saved... just saying putting it out there
P.S. there are other lyrics there that point to God "i can't ask you to give what you already gave" Salvation.

whats the girl all about thats in all the pictures that it keeps showing, like clearly she must be a girlfriend or something but how does that relate to the song

And he could be talking to anyone or anything. Including God, Bhudda, The Goddess, Jesus, (insert your favorite deity or spiritual figure here)........
