Salvador, Bahia, Brazil: afew photos on a cludy day of May

Salvador is the first capital of collonial Brazil, since the year 1549, the date Thome de Souza a portuguse nobleman founded it. The marble mark on the Porto da Barra beach, shown in the pictures, is the cellebrating monument given to Bahia by the Government of Portugal, on March, 29, 1949, for the Fourth centennial Aniversary of Salvador. Rotary mantains in bahia the International Youth Exchange Porgram both for long term and for the short term. And ACBEU, Associacao Cultural Brasil estados Unidos, today became a partner of such a dynamic and fellowship promoting new generation program.
