@TheRKelley94 - yes the car always has the soft top, then when you want to put the hard top on the procedure is put the soft top down, then go get hard top and put it on the car just like the guy does it is really impressive usually takes 2 unless using his method then then soft top is down you can now just put the hard top on sorted.

with a hard top can u still have the soft top down so incase if u take it off and it starts to rain u can put the soft top up?

yeah there are 4-6 latches on the inside to undo and then possibly a defroster wire to disconnect, but that doesn't really take more than a couple minutes to do, and all the latches are in plain view.
I'm impressed that he can put the hard top on single handedly so easily though. I'm 5'10" and have an NB and putting the hard top back on by myself is such a pain in the ass that my efforts draw stares from my neighbors lol.

can you please show a video showing in more detail, like disconnecting latches and wires etc, then reconnecting?
