Purchased as a 1973 R60/5.I tore it down completely and put a 79 R100 engine in it in addition to adding rear sets, low bars, custom powder coat the frame, cafe seat, etc... First run was 6/28/08.

  • nice work man

hey so why did you decide to completely powder coat the frame instead of paint?

  • Mainly durability. I had the frame (and other bits) blasted to the bare metal. Powder Coat is a bit more resistant to scratching, wear, and road elements... vs paint and then clear coating everything. The Tank and Fenders were painted to match. Thanks for the compliments. -Josh
