One night when i was 16 in 1989, i was on a bad acid trip. my friend and i were driving a Renault 5, well my friend was driving and i was on the passenger seat.
Frankenstein was playing on the radio from my N.Y.D. tape. Then the devil was talking to me and on the other-side i could ear god talking to me... I thought i was going to die that night. The music was telling me to not worry and everything would be ok... It was the scariest night of my life. But this song still my best song of all

i do not know why this song captivates me so. it's, at the core, just Johansen rambling on. But God, it's so fucking powerful. Thank you New York Dolls.

the only other people i can think of who were as influential as that dude are Jesus Christ and the Beatles, but this due Jhonny Thunders , ranks with Jesus as far as mysticism and and misunderstanding...and the devil had definitly captured his soul....F'N mind blowing if you start breaking all this stuff down....
