such an awesome awesome idea! in my opinion, they should make every vehicle electric and eventually ban gas powered vehicles. and at thos stations they showed where you can charge it, they should have shade structures for your car and the top side of the structure is solar panels so the soarce of electricity or at least most of it would be literally right there!

This vision is excellent! it is practical and it works.

Shai is definitely taking a major step by separating (de-coupling) the direct link between oil companies and vehicles; which is gasoline. Once this dependency is out of the way and a fundamental medium is created (electricity), we can start plugging in all kinds of energy sources into the grid such as wind, solar, hydro and eventually un-plug the gasoline source from the equation.

Shai Agassi's idea is simply genius!
