  • Would you please tell me the dimensions on the bars you put on the bike over the stock one, and where to buy them. How tall are they over the stock bars, and how much pullback over the stock bars. I would be grateful. I think doing it just with the bars there is no need to use risers ...Thanks in advance, yl

  • @ylism According to the site I bought the bars from the specs are:

    Width 29" Rise 4" Pullback 6.5" Center Width 4.75"

  • @seekinsoul Thank you for the reply specs. I know at times, It was hard to understand my post. When I first started out the post. I was interrupted for a time. Then I cut some out, and tried to fix it, But before I was able to fix things, I hit the post button...lol ... Just not having a good day. Had some dental work done. BTW Dude your sure fast with the hands..... Thank's again, yl

  • @ylism You're welcome. I forgot to say I got the bars from Z1Enterprises[dot]com. I sped up the video a bit by the way.

  • I have a GS-L with the L handlebars and want to trade them out for the Daytonas as well. The one concern I have is cable length and re-routing. Do you think I can get away with using the same stock cables if I change the bars to Daytonas? great video by the way...thank you!

  • I was able to reroute the cables without any problems. I just had to make sure I could turn the bars from left to right, stop to stop, without binding the cables. Make sure the throttle doesn't rev the engine when turning the bars, too. When I did it the first time I had to remove the tank to reroute through the frame, though.

  • THX!!!!!

  • @seekinsoul Thank's again. I just thought you was real fast. lol

  • Nice video. But piece of cake if they have the same high. It would be much more work for higher bars cause then you will need to change the cords. I wanna switch from stock to ape hangers and it's a pain in the ass.

  • awesome video, but i need help with clip on bars :P

  • wow, wicked video.. very helpful!!! man you are quick with the socket wrench ay!!! lol

  • Great video, I've been trying to find an answer to how difficult it would be to change your handlebars, and you've answered all the questions in this video. Thanks for posting it.
