Stellvertretend für seinen erkrankten Chef soll der Geschäftsmann Wada eine entlegene Jade-Mine auf Rentabilität prüfen. Unterwegs trifft er auf den cholerischen Yakuza Ujiie, der sich von der Jade-Mine den schnellen Reibach erhofft. Auf dem Weg zur Mine treffen sie auf ein völlig von der Außenwelt abgeschnittenes Dorf. Dort behauptet eine Frau, sie könne den Kindern des Dorfes das Fliegen beibringen. Wada und Ujiie können sich der Faszination des Ortes nicht mehr entziehen.

On behalf of his boss diseased businessman Wada Jade will examine a remote mine on profitability. Along the way he hits the choleric Yakuza Ujiie, which is expected by the Jade Mine quick killing.
