Riding the escalator at Sears at Barton Creek Mall in Austin, Texas, much like the Hancock Center escalators, except in reverse directions.

Technical specs:
General-Montgomery/Commercial Grade.
Performance-24" width/5 HP.
Distance-12.5 feet/2 floors & 30 FPM.
Year-Installed/1983.

  • I know, but the Hancock Center Sears uses large 40" wide escalators.

  • Just like the Montgomery Twinkie M escalators at the Sears at the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua NH (video of escalator will come soon).

  • Yes, those are 24" wide, single file escalators, which means that it can only hold one person at a time.

  • Actually, these are at Barton Creek Mall, but I don't know about the Ross Park Sears.
