The world has so much to learn from Kahlil Gibran. I'm grateful that I was able to learn from his writings and his wisdom. Thanks for sharing this documentary. I also produce documentaries, so I encourage you to continue this important project.

I see this video is more than 4 years old now. Did you progress on the documentary? Is there an updated version that we can watch somewhere? Are you still gathering information about Gibran? Maybe I can help, my grandmother was her cousin, and used to exchange letters with him. If you think this can be useful, please contact me at dtabach[at]gmail. com.

This man's words about God, love, life and death changed my life. It is such beautiful work. I especially enjoy the use of symbolism. I know that it is considered by many as purely poetical and not philosophical, however, it makes me wonder how anyone could read Gibran's book and come away with this conclusion.

I will learn more. I am new to his teaching, however , i allready feel asthough, his words should be shouted from the rooftops.

Years ago I met an elderly lady from Bsharri, Lebanon who was a distant cousin of Mr. Gibran, and she had very fond memories of his kindness, gentleness and deeply spiritual nature. When I told her that I had read his books many times, and loved his artwork, she smiled and said, " If you had met him, you would have loved him so much right away, he was a wonderful man, the way he wrote and painted was really and truly what he was inside." What marvelous gifts he had , genius and artless honesty.

Love the video but the tour guide is senile. He refers to Gibran's home as poor & "mutawadi3" when it's as quaint & unique as the most beautiful, little dream house anyone can imagine.Millions would give anything to own one like it nestled in the hills & blanketed w/snow.But that's not the point here. Can you imagine a boy running in these picturesque hills! It's because of this beauty & serenity that his spirit soared to such loftiness & poured out the most amazing novels & poetry man ever wrote.

I agree...but, I think Mr Rahme's comment (ex President of GKG Commitee) was more relative to GKG's time, not ours.
