It scares me, after listening to that again, how much we have lost our way. Reagan understood what liberty really meant and tried to teach all of us, but sadly a more comfortable "progressive" ideology now darkens the path to the Shining City on a Hill. We could use Reagan's counsel now.

"Those of us who believe in freedom as deeply as we do, would rather die on our feet than live on our knees." Reagan understood that, but who will take up the torch to light the pathway to the Shining City?
