General Motors and Segway, Inc. illustrate how their emission-free, electric prototypical vehicle may be adapted for future consumer adoption and urban infrastructure.
you know, i hear people hating on this. All it needs is a few slight changes, a higher speed compability, and something to make it safer that getting clipped out the window, and i would SOOOOO BUY IT!
A solution looking for a problem. I got 5 bicycles I use that are a better solution then this thing. So you say OK what about going out to diner. OK Well I wouldn't want to pull up to any place in a suit driving this. I take the Jag for that.
i agree, veprii. what do they really hope to accomplish from this project? if this paves the way for some "smartTM car"-esque electric vehicle which could actually hold something other than a single person, then there's potential. but as it stands, it's gm and segway in a circle-jerk together.
but don't poke fun at my hippie bretheren! yes, some of them are idealistic retards (ie "the world would be better if ... "), but most i meet still have a grasp on reality
so instead of replacing cars, the invention replaces the need for walking? How could this result in anything else but a hrrific future?

what do you do if you got kids...
looks like they can lean out of the side far enough to get clipped by a passing vehicle
considering you can only carry one at a time
i guess you should be able to keep an eye on that sort of thing....lol
i unno, risky car
lots of flaws in my opinion,
but i dont know how far along this project is
