Strymar Livingston (Christopher Columbus) sets a national high school record in the 600 meter run at PSAL City Championship. Time of 1:17.59 beating the old record of 1:17.9 set in 2004. February 25, 2011 at the Armory Track and Field Center.

  • @5t3v3zzzzzz His teammate Davion Wint was on pace to break the national record for the 300m this year as a senior but he actually lost almost a second off of his PR in the 3. While Strymar's future is bright, I don't think you can count on another record next year. Look for him to move to longer events with great success. Think the 1000 or the 16.

  • anybody see josh miller with the upset at states,bet strymar on the back stretch, one of the best races I've seen in a long time.

  • @MisterMisanthropist True, there is a limit, but its possible to still get faster. If he gets stroger, the last lap becomes maybe 26 rather than the 28 he did, that's 2 seconds right there. That'll be very hard though, but possible
