3D - Shane Acker's 9 - One and Five Animation

During my final year at my 3D modelling and animation course, one of the assignments was to make a character from Shane Acker's movie "9". I chose to make the character Five and a friend of mine made the character One. The next assignment was to animate them to dance to music.

After many problems giving us a migrane, we got this unfinished, unrendered piece of crap and submitted it.

Unofficially named Disco Dump by me and my partner because we hate this animation.

Made using Autodesk 3D Studio Max, Autodesk Mudbox, Adobe Photoshop and a lot of lost patience.

Modelled and animated by Oleg Tkachov (me) and Henrik Andersen.
Stupid music is Disco Stomp by Hamilton Bohannon.

@promusicality We're displeased with it because it was a rushed job, I think we literally had to do all animation in a week or so. It was hell xD

Oh my gosh, so cool! I can't believe you were given that as a class assignment! You did really good on your part, especially with the expressions. Do you know of anyone else who uploaded their projects to youtube?

@timburtonlover369 Most I guess were too ashamed to upload theirs to Youtube, it was a really bad and stressful assignment. Everything that wanted to go wrong, went wrong. Anyway, I only found 3 people that uploaded their dances or parts of them in another video, I'd post the links to the videos but Youtube prevents it.
