I curretly have this handset, but it's in Canadian markets as well, but Canada didn't get this device til late march early april of 2010 I've had my phone over a month, but the thing is the slider on my phone does not slide like that, it slides a lot smoother and it doesn't seem like it's gonna open everytime you move the upper part of the handset. Good device, only thing I can say (which everyone says) is that it does have a little less than adequate battery life, lasts me about 2 days at most.
