And yet, Mexico asked for--and GOT--money to build a wall to block out the "Economic Undesirables" from Guatemala, Honduras, etc. Those places are Mexico TO Mexico, but they don't see the hypocrisy!

Yes, Carlos Slim IS Richest Man In The World, why don't Mexicans rob HIM instead of Americans? More profitable target, given our recession!

@archifx As to "seeing them as equals", even ignoring that the side of Mexicans we see are violent cowardly losers who get "brave" against Americans ONLY WHEN we are prohibited from killing them, America formed into a First World "Wonderland" that is WORTH invading and looting, and Mexico turned into a narco-terrorist invader and the Hereditary Enemy to some Americans.

If Mexico had the right to revolt from Spain, Texas had the right to revolt from them, right?

@archifx Mexico will never have a Government that works for Mexicans until they have a revolution. And as long as they can dump their violent losers onto America, a revolution will never gain Critical Mass.

Funny how in America, the scum can "find their voice" and throw tantrums/riots in the streets about how OUR laws are "unfair" to foreign criminals, but they don't pull that shit in their own country!

@EPGAH Mexico won't fold to America just because America will never see Mexico as equals, and Mexico will always see America as the country that took half of it's land territory. But both can be partners. I think NAFTA hurt both the US and Mexico. There must be a different route.

But the problem and solution must rise within Mexico and must be within government that works for the people.

@EPGAH Unfortunately both the war for independence and the revolution in Mexico were just special interests moving ignorant masses for their purpose. Until this day, inequality in Mexico is way out of control. The majority is poor, but the ones that are rich, are sick rich. No wonder the richest man on earth is Mexican.

@archifx BTW, keeping the "indigenous" population ignorant was not merely a flaw of the Spanish, the Aztecs also kept knowledge away from cultures that were lesser to them. They called the Chechek and others "Dog People", and I have to believe that wasn't meant to be an Anime reference, more like a racial slur?

Similarly, the Civilized World did not conquer their enemies by TEACHING their enemies how to use gunpowder. It wasn't until the 1960s that suicidal generosity came into vogue!

@archifx You are aware that in America, illegals and their sympathizers have established La Raza and MALDEF, and by sheer NUMBER, become politically influential despite being illegal, right? Many Congresspeople, State and Federal alike, cop to being "scared" of the Latinos(!)

However, every time we've tried to trim Welfare, or cut off benefits to the illegals, or exclude them any other way, they start a shitstorm of frivolous lawsuits worthy of Jesse Jackson. Look up Proposition 187, or 1070SB

@archifx If Mexico can't make a go of it, why do they continue INSISTING they're an "independent" nation?

Especially an "independent" nation that relies on huge influx of money from America (plunder from illegals has outstripped Mexico's OIL royalties!), and for political stability, relies on dumping its rejects on America!

Why hasn't Mexico just given up and folded into America? We could spend a few billion bringing it up to code, and send the criminals to Guatemala or China or something!
