Well it's a nice thing bcoz it's really small, & has some nice options + it works as an audio interface & provides extremely low latency with DAW (cubase in my case)
About recordings: it's not something like a box with a top mics & millennia preamps ;) but it's mobile & handy. U can make really good recordings if you will put H2 at good place during sessions. On our vids I've used to deal with H2 for the first time in my life: H2 position for rec cello&piano was really bad.
