"I promise you I will do thus and so for YOU!" and promises got broken. The public is whipsawing around and forming angry little swirls of like minded unclear thinking mobs (like the Tea Party). First the GOP is hated, then conservatives, then dems. Confidence in government of any kind is lower now that GWBs rating a few years back. IMO, if gov has gotten so bad, kick 'em all out!
