Jonny,
Just checked out the Vipers website...looks like you guys have a serious schedule. Also looks like you had a great year last year. Hopefully you can improve on those results! With your fitness, and the movement on your ball and the over all poor pitching, especially in long relief, in the majors I think you have a big chance. I especially like the upward trend of your stats. Keep the faith...btw the Marlins could use a 5th starter.

No I have not. I work out outside a lot. Pull ups are my main thing, so I don't usually have weights around. But I'm enjoying the exercise and am looking for new ideas to add to my routine. I think I will try the elbows together lunge next. Are you currently playing ball? Where?

I leave May 9th to go to Calgary to play for the Vipers. When you are doing the lunge press as hard as you can. The coach who taught this to me has you hold for 1 minute in three positions ... palm to palm, then palms in facing you, and finally palms away. Let me know how you like it. The posterior, behind your back, presses are good too.

Interesting video. Looks like you guys could use a backstop. Of course if you never miss that bucket you don't need one. I thought that was an interesting move when you were touching your elbows together. What is that doing? Stretching? For what it's worth, I've worked your skaters into my routine. Great exercise and a nice break from lunges. Keep up the great work.

I am pressing everything from my finger tips to my elbows against each other. This is something I learned from a pitching coach and I added the lunge to put myself in a position similar to when I am pitching. I really like to do them on a slope to simulate a mound.
Thanks for the kind words. I am glad you like the ice skaters too. Have you done them with dumbells?
