The British Library has two things just outside it to recommend it. The first are the gates, made up of the words 'British' and 'Library' and the other is this huge statue bending down and measuring. It is a representation of Isaac Newton by Eduardo Paolozzi.
Extra Note: Newton, Sir Isaac (1642-1727), mathematician and physicist, one of the foremost scientific intellects of all time.
